The Coffee House Plaza

Huntington Beach is known as “Surf City USA” for its consistent year-round waves and an iconic surf culture unlike any other. This complex of several restaurants is B-Hive’s contemporary interpretation of the old beach sheds that used to line Pacific Coast Hwy. Reclaimed wood, galvanized steel, and retractable patio covers were used in an embrace the local surfer lifestyle. Tributes like this are found in every corner of the project, from the sandy central courtyard that offers plenty of outdoor seating options, fire pits in remanence of the beach bonfires of Huntington Beach, the roof-top seating overlooking the Pier, to plentiful surf board racks and covered walkways.
